5 cents is exactly what this is worth.
I have 1,785 bottles of wine on hand right now. This is one of three that I will not drink because I find it so unappetizing. I am not sure what to do with it, as I would give it away, but I cannot imagine anyone liking this.

An excellent wine. No flares or thrills however. This is meant to be drunk. Delicious!

Great Wine but there is a secret...
It is a great wine if you know a secret... I give you the secret for free:
Open the bottle and leave it open in cool place for 10-20 hours before you start drinking wine.

This is not wine
This wine is weak. It has an odd additive like flavor that adds like an all spice flavor. This is rookie wine.

It might be over rated, but this is still a good wine.
I bought this wine at the 5 cents event, the wine is really light, if you are looking for a cab with a full body, this is not for you. The nose is a bit fruity and a little bit woody, oak chip infused? since the body of this wine is so light it reminds me of a Pinot noir, and as you can imagine it was easy to drink, it has some nice finishing. The wine went well with my steak dinner at home, and since it's a budget wine, it should be treated accordingly. So Guys this wine is not a lotto ticket, don't expect to throw a few bucks for it and get a miracle, so yes I would say Wong's review might be a bit over rated, but Challis Lane CB is a great week day wine, I would buy it again, and serve it at home for family and friends that I don't want to impress, but just have a good time with. I also see this wine great for making a nice sangria.

Not Worth Your Time
91pts??? Very disappointing. Thin with absolutely no body whatsoever. Zero depth.......I'm absolutely stunned at Mr. Wong's rating. Am I alone here, or what???

Great Value on Promo
We bought this wine for a cocktail reception because some of the reviews were positive and its price with the 5 cent promotion put it well within our budget. We were pleasantly surprised. It was light but fruity and very well balanced. It's still on a 5 cent promotion and we will be adding some more to our cellar.

SO GOOD
This is a really easy drinking wine, a little too easy. My husband and I drank the whole bottle so fast! :-) Very good though, I will def. buy it up if its part of the 5 cents sale!

This is my "House Wine
This is a great cab for the price with the 5 cent sale. It is a medium bodied red with nice fruit flavor, tannins are a bit noticeable but over all a great table wine. I wouldn't rate it a 91 on a 100 scale but I am not a wine expert. I would give it an "A" rating when it comes to value. I highly recommend this wine.

THIS CABERNET IS A GREAT VALUE!!!
I don't typically drink Cabs, but buy them because friends enjoy them. Decided to take a chance on this one by Challis Lane at the BevMo 5-cent sale. We let it breathe, then paired a bottle with dinner tonight, and later, had dark chocolate for dessert. WOW!!! We're resisting the temptation to open the other bottle. Thank goodness for the "Members Favorites" list! Then, I looked at my receipt to check the price because I thought it was a $16 bottle of wine. But it normally sells for $9.......and the 5-cent sale made it less than $5 a bottle! DOUBLE WOW!!!

The Best Cab. Under $10 Hands Down!
This is my go-to wine. Go ahead and buy those 20 or 40 dollar cabs. Eight or nine times out of ten, this one is just as good. I've done blind taste tests.

Incredibly delicious Cab - at any price. At under $10, it's an absolute steal. I would by this by the case! Very smooth, a tad fruity and wonderfully easy to drink. Amazing!

This is a good table/every day wine.
I bought several cases of this wine for my wedding. I didn't want to serve people swill, but I couldn't afford to pay for great wine for 150 people. This was a great compromise. It is lighter than a good cab should be in my opinion, but still has a good flavor and is very drinkable. Would I break this out for a few good friends on a special occasion, no. Do I serve this when I host a large party, yes. I don't think it deserves 91 points for a cab. Cabs should be full and complex and are for those who really really love wine...like me ;) This goes down more like a nice merlot or zin, very light but drinkable.

Incredible value bottle on the 5 cent sale
On the 5 cent sale, this is a complete home run. This drinks like a $20 bottle - some nice fruit up front, toasty notes from the barreling and a decent finish that holds up well to all kinds of grilled meats - excellent with a filet!

Willard and company way off on this one
Nasty. No soft notes, little fruit, and a biting finish. This is not even a value at the 5 cent sale price. Wine gets worse when allowed to open up. Willard and other customers must have been tasting something else! Wiilard is on the B&B payroll no doubt.

Once Every So Often
This winner started with aromas of brambly raspberries and mild sage followed by smooth but vibrant, fruit forward flavors of bright candied cranberry, candied rhubarb and a touch of clean, light nutmeg. Medium bodied and garnet in color, this cabernet sauvignon reminded me much more of a young and energetic entry-level pinot noir from Brancott than a cab. Very nice quaffer that also paired well, surprisingly, with my servings of ginger beef and sweet & spicy chicken; but not so well with my strip steak. A great value.

Great value!
I just opened up a bottle and couldn't remember where I purchased or the price, so just looked it up in my records. I have to say....I was shocked when I found that I'd only paid $5 for this wine during the 5 cent sale. Will be purchasing again. Nice fruity/cherry taste and very smooth. Not a big wine, but it sure works for those of us on a budget.

Love it!
It's a great wine for any occassion. I've given away many bottles as gifts and have not gotten a negative response yet.The price is amazing, especially during the 5-cent sales events. It's very smooth and great for your everyday glass of red wine at dinner.
