94 PTS BEVERAGE TESTING INSTITUTE. This is a tequila of unparalled smoothness and quality. It is distilled from carefully selected ten year old blue agave plants and aged in new oak barrels.

One of the Best!
Simply the best Anejo at this price point. Equal to Don Julio and superior to Patron. Want something special, try their Leyenda!

Arguably the BEST tequila under $30/bottle
This is, IMHO, the single BEST anejo at a price under $30/bottle, the only possible contender being El Jimador Anejo if you can find at the right price. While clearly not an anejo deep with character nor rich and complex, of offers excellent balance and nice finish, smooth and a pleasure to drink as an everyday sipping tequila.

work with and drink way to much liquor. this is yummy.
so i tried this directly cmpared against tres agaves. it stood out and has a bold and pure agave flavor that really tasted quite good and smoothes out the swallow. some tequilas can be sharp, but this one is not in any way. i love it and considering that it is ten bucks cheaper at my store than the tres generaciones i will get this again. i have not tried the agave don julio yet but i am expecting a lot. the difference in taste between the tres generaciones is certainly not plastic vs real... i am a beer drinker and i you are then you will understand this analogy... the tres has more maltiness that come from aged or cooked hopps vs the centanario having fresh hoppiness that smooths the flavorm both are execellent and should be tasted.

sip, dont shoot
For the person with the negative review, you might want to try a silver or a reposado if your plan is to take shots. As for the tequila, I picked this up after being a fan of the Repsado for years. Back when i had my first taste the brand was a bit pricier and retailed at $50 a bottle. Since then it seems like the price was cut in half, but the quality was not skimped at all. After having a bad weekend i decided to pick up a few bottles of tequila and beer. I decided since i enjoyed the reposado so much, that i would pick up the Anejo and Rosangel. For a Anejo in this price range the quality is really hard to beat, even at the $50 range it gives them a run for there money. It is smooth, flavorful, and easy to sip. While everyone else is throwing back shots and chasing it with beers, i just carry a few ounces of this in a glass, sip, and enjoy.

sip swirl swallow repeat enjoy
If you do not like this tequila you do not like fine tequila. Go back to the kick of cuervo and be a he man...and then enjoy the hangover. If tequila were any smoother they would call it water. I have been drinking this tequila for many years and anyone who has tried it at my home has become a believer and compare all the other fine tequilas to the bar of this one. None reach it.

IT IS SIMPLY AMAZING!! I was born and raised in Texas and frequented the Mexico border often. I have been drinking and sampling tequila for 30 plus years…and this is the best compared to the rest for value. I have paid $400 and $12 for all claims and ages. The extremely mild aged oak flavoring without carmel additive for coloring gives this product hands down the best tequila under $300 a bottle. Keep it in freezer…great sipping…great fro margaritas…great for just about anything…enjoy..

sorry to be the first negative on here
I was told that this tequila is very good and smooth and on the bright side it was on sale so I bought it. I invited three of my friends to come over and take shots with me. When the four of us took the shots my two other buddies said it was very smooth, while me and my other buddy felt like we just finished drinking gasoline. The burning was harsh and there was nothing smooth about this tequila. All I can say is be prepared for your throat to burn.

Good for the price
For the price, you can't beat this tequila. I like it with 2-3 ice cubes. Not bad...

Dont get it
I don't get the great reviews on this Tequila. It was not very smooth and the finish was just ok.
