Luckily, I received the 2009 Silverado rather than the 2008 that Peter M. did. The 2009 was very good and quite smooth. We drank the first 1/2 of the bottle the first day and the other 1/2 the second day. There was no bitterness or lack of taste even the second day. I found it to be a dryer Sauvignon Blanc with a pleasant citrus and mineral taste.

Possibly got a bad bottle...and it was on '08
I bought a bottle not realizing that I got the 2008 vintage instead of the 2009. On first taste, it seemed like it was past it's prime drinking age, and I could swear the wine spent some time in oak (it didn't). The slight oakiness detracted from the brightness of the wine, but it seemed drinkable and decent. However, day 2 (in the fridge) revealed a more pronounced unpleasant quality, and I ended up dumping it. Based on my experience with Napa Sauvignon Blanc, '09 and '10 produced better wines, so I do plan to give the '09 a try. The '10 has been released as well.
