My go to for the price.
This is definitely my favorite bourbon for the price. You cannot beat getting excellent quality for less than $25. Nice hints of carmel, vanilla, and corn with a nice spice for the proof. Makes a killer old fashioned.

Breathe slowly and sip
I don't normally like this kind of drink. Buffalo is great and has multiple layers of flavor that you have to wait for and enjoy. Breathe slowly and sip. I like relaxing and drinking it on the rocks. The aftertaste will stick around for a while and pairs well with gamey meats.

Not for me.
A friend told me this whiskey taste similar to Eagle Rare. That friend and I are no longer friends. It's ton of better cheap whiskeys in the world and this one doesn't compare to half of them. Woody and syrup is the taste. If you don't like flavors then go for it.

Great taste and value.
Totally agree this a superior value for taste and cost. Lovely smooth texture with complex hints of vanilla, cinnamon, sweet corn, fruits.. It's all good. I look forward to my evening glass, large ice cube, and splash of soda. Among the three bourbons I regularly buy.

Has it all.
Wow, very nice bourbon! I think it's worth 4.5 stars! Lovely nose with all the fruitiness and aromas of a well balanced bourbon, It's very, very well balanced and it should appeal to a wide range of spirit drinkers of different generation groups. Not the best but pretty close. A steal at this price!

Love at First Sip
Buffalo Trace is the fourth installment in my own private little bourbon-of-the-month club. Blaton's, Woodford Reserve, and Elijah Craig 12yr preceded it. Very impressed with BT - love at first sip. Doesn't surprise me for a second that this bourbon has been so highly rated.

Best Everyday Bourbon
My new favorite bourbon. Was a long time makers mark drinker until I tried BT. Its the perfect 'everyday' bourbon. Very affordable without sacrifice. Extremely smooth & level as a pool table. Beautiful nose. Best buy for the money, give it a try. Eagle Rare is my weekend 'occasion' bourbon.

One of the best
Had to give it 5 stars. Especially considering the value. Just a great, sipping bourbon. Surprising depth of flavor without any one dominating. Smooth finish, with your brain and taste buds begging you to take another sip. I have tried many other bourbons, purposely trying to find one I might like better. There have been a few that were close, and only because of one or two specific flavor profiles that intrigued me. But for a well balanced bourbon, I haven't found anything that beats it.

Bourbon Chess
I discovered that while playing chess against the computer, late at night, that every time I take a piece I sip some of this wonderful Bourbon. It is truly a great tasting mixture of all the flavors that are in the description. Honey toasted corn bread, spices I don't know if its the Buffalo in the name or the way it lingers after each sip but I think of Wyoming and those big open spaces and wish I was back on my old horse Star and drifting with the wind Cheers!

Better than Makers.
More flavor and more smooth than Makers Mark. One of the best Bourbons in this price point.

Favorite bourbon. Always have a bottle on hand.
This is my favorite bourbon that I've ever tried, and is quite frankly, my go-to bourbon. Sweet, with a light, surgery caramel flavor to it opens up to a range of fruit and oak flavors. I can't get enough of this stuff. I prefer it to Blanton's, and almost every other bourbon.

Best bourbon in this price range
This is our favorite bourbon in this price range. I love it mixed or straight and it is the ONLY one we use when making mint juleps for Derby. In fact, at one of our Derby parties, we ran out and started using Woodford Reserve. Everyone agreed they were not nearly as tasty.

A Work of Art
This is an elegant, well-made bourbon that is finely balanced and deeply flavored. Flawless. Highly recommended.

Easy. Just easy.
Maple nose, then the cinnamon notes with a bit of dried fruit, then the obligatory leathery finish. Nuttiness somewhere in the after palate? So, so smooth in the finish. 5 stars for the effort, the price, and the overall value. Where bourbons can be a little harsh for some tastes, this is not- it is vibrant! Ends well with some complexity and a wont for just a tad more... Highest possible recommendation- it's a permanent staple and my personal go-to.

A Buffalo worth Tracing!
I must admit I was a Single Barrel Jack D kinda girl. However, I told Jack to moooove over cause there is a new Buffalo in town and I'm Tracing after it! This is some good Whiskey Y'all. It is smooth and tasty and oh so good. I stumbled upon it at a fancy resturant (Thanks Pamplemousse Grille!) when I ordered a well drink. It really is great stuff. If you don't get it, that means there is MORE for me to drink!

I consider Buffalo Trace to be my favorite bourbon so far. Apparently, Buffalo Trace is responsible for producing some of the finest batches of bourbon around such as George T. Stagg, Elmer T. Lee, Eagle Rare, and Old Charter. Buffalo trace is aged for about 8 years in charred white oak casks, and it is no doubt the most intriguing bourbon in its price range that boasts a complex character, and a well defined body. Light bronze in color, with sweet vanilla aromas, burnt caramel candy, hints of cinnamon spice, and muted essence of crushed mint on the nose. Add a splash of water, let it sit for a few seconds, then start sipping, and you shall experience a seemingly endless plethora of flavors that will delight your senses. The palate entry, rich vanilla creme brulee, loads of freshly grilled sweet corn, endless creamy toasted oak, toasted walnuts soaked in honey, supple notes of cinnamon raisin bread, compounded by layers of molasses, a light wisp of Virginian tobacco, rich decadent caramel laced with nutmeg, and toffee sprinkled with powdered cloves. Simultaneously, scant layers of brown leather hang on the mid palate, along with heavy accents of sweet corn, subtle notes of rye, and faint accents of mint, all of which linger conspicuously on the palate for quite sometime. Afterwards, the smooth well balanced dry finish leaves you with just enough burn to remind you how exquisite this bourbon is.

Very Smooth and good for sipping straight
Incredibly sip-able I'm not a very experienced bourbon drinker (bought this because of the buffalo on the label, actually) but very smooth
