Bulleit Bourbon (1.75 LTR)
Hailing from Kentucky, the gold medal winning Bulleit Bourbon exemplifies the exact science of a unique blend of rye, corn, barley malt, special yeast, and pure Kentucky limestone filtered water. Special attention is paid to this small batch whiskey, which is aged for 7 years, giving it an amber color with hints of maple, oak and nutmeg that is spicy, but smooth. With a distinct smoky finish, Bulleit Bourbon is best served in an Old Fashioned, on the rocks, or neat with your favorite bar snack.

Good, but edged out by Maker's Mark
Not a terrible bourbon, but for this price point, you can do better with Maker's Mark, or spring for the Woodford Reserve or Knobb Creek. It's definitely oaky/nutty to the nose with forward vanilla flavors on the palate, and a little spice at the end.
Good not great.

Wow... almost as many bourbon snobs as single malt snobs. This is my "every day" bourbon. Kendra is right that you're not going to impress anybody with this. But at the price, it can not be beat. Bookers is my fav but I have to drive a fair piece to buy and it's not cheap.

Plenty good and easy enough on the wallet.
Come on! This is a very nice drinker. It's one of those "over ice" bourbons, more for enjoying than appreciating- there is a difference. I spent a few nights recently taking this in, and it really kept me coming back as an after dinner night cap- and I keep 30-40 bottles in my rotation at all times. You could do worse, and you could do better. If you are a snob...congrats. This is good old Bourbon- sweetness, oakiness, a nice finish...what more do you really need. Drink what you like, ignore the snots.

widely-available, but not the best...
bulleit is okay to use for mixers/cocktails. at 90-proof, it's too weak for sipping on its own. very fruity taste. it's okay for beginners, but if you really know what a good bourbon should taste like (and you like to drink your bourbon straight), this will disappoint.
