A solid performance, this Cabernet offers red currants and dried leaves in the aromas and flavors; well balanced and refined; perky fresh in the finish.

Excellent, great Cabernet, smooth with a light Oak /Spice flavor. Very nice especially at the offering price. This wine is a true secret, buy some and you'll be buying it often, one of the better Cab's under $20 Bucks. Sonoma Cab's Rock and the Dry Creek one's are the best.

Blair at the Walnut Creek store suggested this wine as one of the top bargains in the store this holiday. At first I was skeptical because I often feel like the BevMo staff is trying to foist wines that don't sell on me, but he seemed very passionate about it so I went ahead. Let me just say, he was right. You'd be hard pressed to find a better Cabernet under $20. This wine will easily stand up and out perform wines two and three times the price.

Rich initial aromas of blackberry, raspberry, spice, and oak. As it airs in the glass, the raspberry aromas assume dominance, with plum and a bit of cocoa emerging in the background. Black current, blackberry, plum, and oak in the flavors. Tannins noticeable in flavors and finish, but not harsh. Holds up well through four days after opening. A big, full bodied, dry wine with moderate tannins and some aging potential. Not quite a 5 star wine right now, but deserves 4.5 stars. Winery website says 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec; 14.5% alcohol; and an aging potential of 8 to 12 years.
