Worst Tequila Ever
After reading Mikey M.'s criticizing of Gustavo's review, I had to add mine. In my lifetime (I'm 54), to date I have only ever tasted one tequila that was so bad that I actually spit it out.  That honor goes to Tres Generaciones.  Does everyone understand the implication of that statement?  Bottom dwelling Cuervo Gold is more palettable than Tres Generaciones!  This stuff is utterly horrible. Also FYI--unless things have changed in the last 25-30 years since I last spit it out--Tres Generaciones is _not_ a 100% agave tequila!  So yes, you _can_ get much better tequilas than this for a better price... Herradura Anejo is one of them.  Corazon anejo and Gran Centenario anejo are both dramatically better than Tres Generaciones and can (currently) be had for under $30 at BevMo!  Don't waste your time with Tres Generaciones, people.  Life is too short for crappy tequila. And for the record, since Mikey M. mentioned it, Don Julio is pretty bad stuff, too.  Tastes (to me) like it was made with skunk water.  Admittedly, however, I have only tried the blanco... but blanco is the base from which reposado and anejo is made, so if you're starting out badly to begin with, it's a pretty safe bet you're going to end up badly no matter how much you try to disguise it.

I had to write a review after Gustavo- who describes concrete as a taste? Don't listen to this guy- Don Julio is my go to, but Tres Gen is also a great tequila. It's pretty smooth and has a nice finish that lingers with the taste of honey. I'm curious what Gus thinks is far better for much less than $50?

Nice bottle... Really bad Tequila!
Very alcoholic after taste with cement. I don't recomend this. There are lot much better Tequilas for much less.

Our fave!
Very smooth with a slight caramel flavor.  The price point is great but, honestly, it's much better than many tequilas that are much more expensive.  This is our favorite for sipping - either neat, on the rocks, or with a splash of fresh squeezed lime.
