After sampling at a wedding I searched far and wide to find a source for this fine tequila then on Christmas my main man from L.A. arrives in Las Vegas with a bottle of 7 Leguas Anejo - Oh so fine - and we are now dedicated to BevMo as I thus far haven't been able to find this in Las Vegas and honestly wont be looking further - Go BevMo! oh yea like Gustavo says - DRINK IT COLD AND DRINK IT STRAIGHT - STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS!

An excellent añejo with overtones of amber-musk and vanilla. A tad sweet, musky and syrupy for my personal taste, but many aficionados prefer this shade of tequila. I generally prefer more subtle, less sweet añejos like Corralejo, El Tesoro, or Corzo.

Great tequila. Smooth, smoky, earthy. A good buy.

this is the real parton.
We're sorry but this is going to shock many Patron lovers. We only want to empower & tell the truth. Patron is the #1 tequila in the USA - but only in sales. It's due to lots of money spent in celebrity promotion & advertising. But did you know that; 1) they don't sell Patron in Mexico? 2) Paul Mitchell (hair products) owns Patron. [image above: John Paul Dejoria of Paul Mitchell Hair Systems and Patron Tequila] Got your attention? Here's more about Patron. Patron History: 7 Leguas (Siete Leguas) is the tequila that invented the Patron label. The original Patron was made in the 7 Leguas Leguas Distillery in Mexico and then sold to St. Maarten Spirits, Ltd. in the U.S., where it was marketed under the brand name Patron from 1991 through 2002. After high demand, 7 Leguas couldn't keep up with production. Patron ceased their relationship and built their own tequila distillery. 7 leguas no longer produces its formula for Patron, which now has a different formula and NOM. (did this change the taste? you betcha!) 7 Leguas comes from the name of Pancho Villa's horse. 7 Leguas carries a name and symbol that was inspired by the revolutionary hero General Francisco Villa (Pancho Villa), who named his horse Siete Leguas (Seven Leagues) in recognition of the distance the steed galloped on one of the many conquests. 7 Leguas won the 2008 Gold Medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Patron has never won a gold medal. 7 Leguas is made "de tajona" -- the ancient technique of grinding the agave with a stone wheel, driven by mules.
