Perfect tasting stout
Wow, my palette and tastebuds enjoyed this great tasting stout so much. I've been on a dark beer adventure lately and have tried any new varieties of stout beers whenever I visit a supermarket and discovered Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout at BevMo and all I can say is hot damn this is delicious. The roasted barley gives this exquisite beer a chocolatey yet almost-roasted coffee flavouring that your body will simply crave yet again with another chilled bottle of beer. So far it is the best tasting stout I've had. I thoroughly enjoy porters but wanted to go bolder and darker, so stouts became the natural next step and boy am I glad I take the time to read the labels and descriptions when I go to BevMo. I also purchased O'hara's Irish Stout and that wasn't as good compared to Samuel Smith's. O'hara's was so-so. Still bought both so I could personally taste each and see which one I prefer and Samuel Smith's is by far a superior stout. Give it a try and perhaps your taste-buds will share the same pleasantries mine did. Fyi, I've recently by chance discovered that drinking stout beer with very dark chocolate (70% cocoa at least) pairs wonderfully right with this type of beer. I love chocolate and grew up drinking a lot of chocolate milk so perhaps my chocolate sweet tooth was destined to fall in love with stouts which are chocolatey in nature. God bless whoever created porters and stouts hundreds of years ago.
