The mysterious "33" on the distinctive green bottle has been the subject of much speculation; is it for 1933, the year prohibition ended? Or the number of letters in the text? Or something else?

great conversation brew
I like to drink this beer on a sunny day with company.  It's light,  smooth and goes down with ease. Taste like xx lager.  Great conversation brew.

Always good - Never a headache!
Rolling Rock is my Favorite All-Around Go-To beer! Don't get me wrong, I have beer-snob tendencies and would never compare my Box of Rocks to a hearty IPA. But when I get home after a long day at the office or just want to sit by the pool and have an ice cold beer or ten, NOTHING beats the liquid gold that flows "from the glass lined tanks of old Latrobe"!!! I just wish Bev-Mo Burbank would keep more of it on the shelf.

In a class by itself
Nice to see that we can get Rolling Rock here in California. There's really nothing else like it. It's like Pu-erh or Lapsang Souchong teas, in the sense that it's an acquired taste, and quite unexpected...although it tastes nothing like them. The similarity is that, once you learn to appreciate its virtues, you realize that it's in a class by itself. Lovers of pale ale and the most brisk pilseners are likely to be quickly captivated by its charms. Funny thing is, I usually tend to favor the maltier, meatier brewskis, and I STILL like Rolling Rock. I has qualities I've found in no other beer. Oh...and if you don't know the answer to the mystery of the "33", I'm not going to spoil it for you. (heh)
