If I had a nickel for every time someone said they had to get hold of some 90-point
wines, I'd be a rich man. For many wine lovers, the 90-point level has become the
gold standard by which good wine is measured. And while discussing wine can be a
challenge for everyone, including readers of the Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast,
and so on, the 90-point plateau has forged a common language in our search for excellence.
Wine lingo is ever changing, but thanks to this rating system, we are now in a place
where we can all communicate. Join me in hunting down the best of the 90-point beauties,
and become a member of our '90-Point Wine Club.'
